We had some wandering ducks come and visit the senior school this morning. Mr and Mrs Duck seemed to be enjoying there time, especially when Joshua shared his dance with them! Do you know the different physical features of female and male ducks? Leave us a question or comment on our blog! I wonder if any other classes have seen these two? To keep our ducks well, please pick up your plastic rubbish, so that they don't think it is food!
This made my day! I love ducks. We have quite a few at the beach where I live, infact when it is the season for nesting and hatching, we even have a neighbourhood patrol to help look after and protect them. I think the difference in features is that the male duck has the beautiful green feathers? am I correct? Did you know that ducks are not supposed to eat bread? I only just found out why.. do you know? I wonder what they are supposed to eat. Since we have these wonderful visitors to our school, how can we care for them? (besides picking up rubbish). Looking forward to finding out your answers. Well done Joshua- you certainly entertained them!
